“One fateful day, while creating a new body of work at the studio, I accidentally knocked off an entire bucket of paint onto my lap. A giant mess, my favorite jeans are ruined!
On second thought, I had an epiphany and started to splash the rest on it as well. Inspired, I grabbed more paint and continued to “work” on my pants like a canvas! I realized that I could embrace this accident and transform my jeans into art. I saw the potential for spontaneous design. My jeans, once plain and ordinary, now became a unique work of art, infused with vibrant splashes of color and energy.
Excited and inspired I looked at my never-ending little black dresses in my closet; and you only wear the one, right?
Why hoard more stuff when I could recycle and elevate them through art? I set out on a mission to reinvent my wardrobe with one-of-a-kind pieces, each possessing a story of its own
UrbanJam.art was born!
People admired the uniqueness of these revamped garments. I began receiving requests from others who wanted me to work my magic on their clothing too.
Each piece holds a distinct character true to the fabric, the cut and reflecting the essence of the individual wearing it.
